Privacy policy
What we collect when you ask us to call, why we need it, and how to see, fix or delete it. Written in plain English.
Effective and last updated
What changed on October 23, 2026: every request now also goes into our customer management software (section 3), our home page and Contact page quote form changed (section 1), and our pages no longer load fonts or a map from Google (section 4).
We're Premier Exterior, a family-owned home exterior cleaning business in Redding, California. When you visit our website, ask us to call you, or request a quote, you trust us with a little information about yourself. This page explains exactly what we collect, how we use it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We ask for what we need to call you: your name and phone number. The quote form on our home page and Contact page also lets you add your email if you like.
- We use your number to call or text you about your request. We never sell your information or hand it to anyone for their marketing.
- Our site uses no cookies and no outside trackers, and our pages load nothing from other companies. We count visits with our own simple tools.
- If a Google ad brought you here, we save that ad's click code with your request so we can tell which ads actually work.
- Want to see, fix or delete what we have? Call (530) 782-3393 or email us. That's it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
What we collect depends on how you reach us:
- On our service pages (window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure and soft washing, solar panel cleaning, window screen repair and Christmas light installation), you give us your name and phone number, your answers to a few short questions about the job (for example, how many stories your home has or about how many panels you have), and the call time you pick. These pages don't ask for your email. If you correct your phone number after sending, we update our records with the new one.
- On the quote form on our home page and Contact page, you give us your name and phone number, the services you're interested in and the call time you pick. If you like, you can also add your email address, notes about the job (which may include your address), and whether you're interested in recurring window cleaning. If you correct your phone number after sending, we update our records with the new one.
- When you call, text or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us.
Information from our Google ads
If you reach our site by clicking one of our Google ads, Google adds a click code to the web address (it's called a gclid, gbraid or wbraid). If you then send us a request, we save that code with it so we can tell which ads lead to real conversations. We keep it in our own records. If we ever start reporting results back to Google Ads, we'll send only the click code and the date, never your name or phone number, and we'll update this policy first.
If you ask us to call you through a form inside one of our Google ads, Google collects your name and phone number (and your answers to any questions on the form) and passes them to us. If you call us from an ad, Google may share the calling number, the time and the length of the call with us. Google handles those under its own privacy policy, and once the details reach us, this policy covers them too.
Information collected automatically
When you browse our site, our own simple analytics (not an outside analytics company) record:
- The pages you visit and when;
- What you tap or click, like links and buttons, and where on the screen, which helps us improve the layout;
- On pages with a quote form, how far you get in the form: which step you finished, which call time you chose, or that a field needed fixing. We record the step, never what you typed. A random code, made fresh for each browser tab, ties those steps together;
- Your browser's user-agent (the kind of browser and device you use);
- A coded version (a hash) of your IP address and browser details, which we use to count unique visitors. A hash is not the same as anonymous, so we treat it as personal information. We don't save your actual IP address in our analytics.
Our server also uses your IP address for a minute or two at a time to block repeated or abusive requests, and it isn't saved. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs that include IP addresses and the web addresses requested.
We don't use advertising pixels, outside analytics services such as Google Analytics, session recording, or tracking cookies.
Saved in your browser
Pages with a quote form keep a little information in your browser's session storage (not a cookie). It stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab:
- Your answers and chosen call time, so you don't lose your place if the page reloads. We stop restoring them after two hours. Your name, phone number, email and notes are never saved this way.
- The Google ad click code, if you arrived from one of our ads.
- The random tab code described above (we also keep it with our visit records).
2. How we use your information
We use what we collect to:
- Call you at the time you picked (or as soon as we can) and give you an estimate;
- Schedule, do and follow up on the work you ask us for;
- If you've hired us before, text you now and then about seasonal services;
- See which pages and ads bring us real customers, and make our site better;
- Keep spam, abuse and fraud out of our forms.
Calls and texts
When you ask us to call, we use your number to call or text you about that request. If you've hired us before, we may also text you now and then about seasonal services. Asking for an estimate alone doesn't put you on that list. We never give your number to anyone for their marketing. Want us to stop? Tell us on the call or reply STOP to a text, and we will.
We don't make automated decisions about you, and we don't sell your information.
4. Cookies & tracking
- Our own pages don't set cookies for visitors. The only cookie we use is for our private staff login, and it is never set when you browse the site.
- We don't let ad networks or data brokers collect information about you on our site. Our pages load nothing from outside companies: our fonts, photos and maps come from our own site.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We don't track you across other websites or show you targeted ads on our site, so our site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
5. Data storage & security
Everything you send us travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is stored in our database, which only our team can see through a password-protected login. To keep spam out, we use a hidden spam trap, limits on repeated submissions, and automated filtering. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
6. How long we keep it
We keep call and quote requests as business records for as long as we need them, for example to follow up on a quote or look up past work at your home. If you ask us to delete yours, we will (see Your privacy rights).
Visit and click records don't include your name or phone number. We keep them so we can compare our site's traffic over time. Information saved in your browser is cleared when you close the tab.
7. Your privacy rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we have about you;
- Correct anything that's wrong;
- Delete your information.
Call us at (530) 782-3393 or email 530premierexterior@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm a detail, like the phone number you used, so we know the request is really from you. When we delete a request, we remove it from our database, our customer management software, our email inbox and our calendar. Copies in our hosting provider's short-term logs are deleted on that provider's own schedule. We won't treat you any differently for asking.
8. California residents
We're based in Shasta County, California. As the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) requires, this policy explains what we collect, who we share it with, how you can review or change it, how we respond to Do Not Track signals (see Cookies & tracking), and how we'll tell you about changes.
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) applies only to much larger businesses, and we are not one of them. Even so, we honor the same basic requests from anyone: you can ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we won't treat you differently for asking. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't give it to other companies for their own marketing, so we have nothing to report under California's Shine the Light law.
9. Children's privacy
Our website and services are meant for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, let us know and we'll delete it.
10. Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites and services, such as our Google business profile, Google Maps and OpenStreetMap. We're not responsible for how those sites handle your information, so it's worth checking their privacy policies when you visit them.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, such as a new kind of information we collect or a new company we share it with, we'll add a short note at the top of this page explaining what changed.
12. Contact us
